Their Majesty the Koru, Willow I, has proposed a Bill to the Hokorian Parliament which would abolish the Koruship of Hokoria. Under the proposed changes, the person holding the Koruship of Vistaria would instead be recognised as the Koru for the purposes of Hokorian law.

This move is similar to a proposal for Lorc’h in March earlier this year which could have seen the Koruship in Lorc’h merged with the Koruship in Hokoria, with Willow I serving as Koru of both Hokoria and Lorc’h.

The major difference in this case is that Willow I would cease to hold a separate Hokorian Koruship, with the holder of the Vistarian Koruship becoming the Koru recognised under Hokorian law.

What is Vistaria?

Vistaria was founded on November 1, 2025 following a ceremony held in Kraków, Poland. Willow I served as Interim President until establishing the Vistarian Koruship earlier this week.

The nation, now known as the Kingdom of Vistaria, has seen little government activity since its foundation.

What does the change mean?

With the Koru being the person who holds the Koruship of Vistaria, Hokorian law would no longer determine matters concerning the Koruship itself, including succession. These matters would instead be governed solely by Vistarian law.

Importantly, Hokoria would remain an independent and sovereign nation. The Hokorian Parliament would retain its existing powers to determine what the Koru can and cannot do within Hokoria.

What happens if the Bill is approved by MPs?

If the Koru’s Bill is approved by MPs, it will be subject to Hokoria’s first national referendum on a constitutional amendment.
