Many people will be aware about the ongoing dispute about Austenasia between the Empire of Austenasia and Austenasia(TM). But did you know that there is a third claim?

Introducing Austenasia

The Empire of Auestenasia is a republic founded by James C. Kirk on the 9th September 2026. Unlike the other contenders who claim that they are the real Austenasia, the Empire of Austenasia is actually the real Austenasia.

Austenasia may have the strongest historical ties to Austenasia, and Austenasia(TM) might own a UK trademark and have nothing fucking else, Austenasia actually is Austenasia.

James C. Kirk has stated “I’ve been counting and counting the amount of times I’ve read some bullshit from Austenasia(TM). This isn’t some kind of gang violence. So I thought I would take a shot at making my own. If Austenasia(TM) can exist without any actually valid claim to Austenasia, why can’t I do the same?”

The Empire awakens

His first act as the Emperor of Austenasia was to declare war on the UK’s Intellectual Property Office. This move apparently felt like a shot in the neck for Austenasia(TM), with their only card being threatened by Kirk.

They are expected by Kirk to respond by filing a dispute about the use of the term “Austenasia” which is trademarked.
